Feedback A letter to my future self

A little more than a day has passed since the full alpha release, and I would like to share my impressions and leave a couple of tips for my future self.

I also want to thank the team creating a wonderful project from scratch in front of our eyes, and for this opportunity to enjoy bugs the game.

So, I played for 2 classes: a knight and a warrior.

I will not compare them, I will just post some unnecessary text.
Do not pay attention to the statistics, I myself do not really understand that a knight with experience, perhaps different characters need a different amount of experience, or during todays maintenance they changed the amount of experience required to go to the next level ;)
The first character I tried a little bit of everything, researched, let's say, and also managed to get stuck (thank you so much @MrDienns and @Euvrounin for the time spent on me, forgive me @Euvrounin, I'm sorry that I tormented you for so long with my existence and non-existence ) during everyone's favorite escort quest. The second I stayed at an almost initial location - a farm, which I will now tell you about.

A little advice to you, it is better to refrain from rushing. Speedrun is cool cool cool, but can take a lot longer without proper gear. So what am I talking about, after receiving the first class weapon (I'm not talking about the wand that was given to poke the goblins), it is better to stay on the farm, and get good initial equipment, save money, and of course experience. For myself, I chose poor sheep, and kicked them as soon as I wanted them for about an hour. Advantages of this spot:

  • Safety (with the exception of sometimes appearing Rams, and rats who get angry if they are touched).
  • Profitability. Wool costs about 7 copper apiece (4 silver 48 copper per stack), not to mention raw meat that cost 2 copper.
And also, with a certain probability, some equipment drops out:

I was wondering if the pants and boots would also drop out, I really wanted stylish new clothes, but I filled my inventory with hats and jackets faster than I was able to figure it out.

So, if you want to avoid some discomfort from the battle with the first boss with the initial weapon (in close combat, he caused a lot of problems at level 2-4), you can enjoy the company of sheep (they look submissive and breedable), level up to 7-9, in order to acquire a new one weapons from a blacksmith in the market. Also, by selling wool and other unnecessary things, you can get a pretty good initial capital (personally, after leaving there, I received about 11 silver). And then you can go enjoy the adventure.

Also, it is advisable to approach the distribution of stat points wisely, because there is no possibility of resetting (and it would be nice to get at least 1 free reset of stats on a character for some quest, for example, similar to a quest for learning a skill, a quest for the distribution of stats, for which give 1 reset opportunity).

And yet, there is a lack of mana regeneration (with such an increase in regeneration for 1 stat point, it seems like a waste of this point), is it possible to add some rare or very rare equipment a small increase to HP / MP regeneration (similar to the bonus to speed, hp, MP), or some kind of mana fruit / potion.

I look forward to future releases and wish the developers unreal success aaaaand good luck. Best wishes, M1nt_Y.

I think this is a good thing to read, because it means balancing is doing a good job at preventing people from skipping chunks of the game or not levelling enough.

I really like this write up, @M1nty, thank you. Information like this is really useful for us and it's nice to see players analyzing the game like this. I hope to see more writeups like this.
