Rejected Deity System

So almost everyone knows about deities. A system that will give you passive abilities/attributes when you select a deity to pray daily(changeable) is what's in my mind.
-Maybe a reward system can be added like if you pray to your deity daily to get money or other rewards.
-The connection between your deity can be increase via levels and those levels can be gained by praying or completing your deity's special missions (like daily missions).
I hope this will give the game a good context.

Edit: I haven't think about the details so if you need details about quests, deities attributes, etc. I can think for some.
Edit 2: I just figured, this would also good for the lore 0.0

I get the basic idea and can imagine how this would work in general. But I would advise you to expand onto this post a bit more. What kind of deities are they? personalities, or attributes (elemental? underworld/heaven? Good/bad?). What kind of tasks would you like to see to gain the levels with the deities? What kind of passives should there be? It will be easier for the content team to get an idea of your suggestion if you have a larger post. It's a bit hard to comment on this suggestion because of the fact that it's a bit lacking in detail.

Sure. I like the sound of something like, "I'll just pray to the God/dess of Luck daily so I can maybe get those epic class boots from that dungeon," or something like that. For the sake of roleplay and content, it could be a whole other layer of complexity as well. I'm not at all opposed to the sounds of that.

Considering the fast integration of culture within Dyescape. This is something that could be done for a specific Kingdom. Note that all Kingdoms have their own culture. Considering the two Kingdoms (Ikaron & Alusan) are already being developed for Beta (and neither fit the deity system), it will not be done implemented or taken into consideration for beta. However, if the time later arises for a new Kingdom that could support a deity system. We'll definitely take your suggestion into account.

For now, the suggestion has been declined as it does not fit Alpha nor Beta. If you were earlier, we might've been able to do so for Beta ;)

I thought the content team would create the deities and stuff but I think I can help you guys about it a little bit by telling what is in my mind.

Basically;
-A fight between Devil Leaders and Deities (Gaia and Uranus[I want to change the name because it's too cliche])occurs in hundreds of years ago. Deities managed to stop the Devil Leaders but Uranus got weakened because of the war. After that, Devil Leaders went to the Earth and started an Apocalypse. Humans were panicked and lots of them died. But among them, there were some people that opposed Devil Leaders' minions and won against them. So Gaia thought if she gave her blessings to these people, they can at least stop the apocalypse. Fortunately, the heroes(I'll call the people that defeated minions hero) managed to Defeat one of the strongest Devil Leaders. With that, Apocalypse has stopped and Devil Leaders stuck on the Earth because of Gaia's power. After that Uranus also gave blessings to these heroes after he gained his power back and they became divine beings.

-The devils are powerful beings and can fight against several deities.

-Deities are divine beings that were actually the first human beings that defeated one of the Devil Leaders by getting the blessing of the goddess Gaia who is in heaven (I meant gods are related to heaven, not elemental stuff) to fight against all the devil leaders. But they were cursed by the Devil Leader before he died which reduced their blessings. So they need players' help to defeat Devil Leaders. When players defeat all the devil leaders they will be rewarded with the blessing of the Gaia and the deity they want to choose(The blessings are going to be level 1 and for each side quest player finishes they will gain experience according to the difficulty of the quest).
-For the side quests, After the Devil Leaders got defeated, there are still hundreds of thousands of strong minions of Devil Leaders to defeat so this can be a daily side quest I guess. Praying can also count as a side quest.

So as I summarized what I have in my mind, the heroes can be;
-Related to the classes (Like the Knight God, Mage God, etc.).
-Related to the attributes (God of War, God of Harvest, etc.).
-Related to the nature they belong to (Trickster God, Courage God, etc.).

Well, I thought this would be a major update for the RELEASE so I knew that it wouldn't fit Alpha or Beta :D Also thank you for considering this suggestion ^^
